Design details

A hemispherical sundial reimagined as a flowing garden fountain, the Chalice reflects Earth’s revolutions around the Sun. Writing in the 5th century BC, the Greek historian Herodotus told of a sacred fountain of youth. Following his mythical accounts, the Chalice design brings youthful energy and soft movement to illuminate your outdoor space.

The water bowl shape is made with mirror-polished stainless steel. A tough and durable metal which will resist weathering and last a lifetime. Suited to both indoor and outdoor living, luxurious Chalice imbues a sense of calm and serenity thanks to the soothing sound of the water.

To work as an accurate timepiece, Chalice’s stainless-steel hemisphere slowly revolves on its axis. Water flows on the outside whilst the time is shown on the inside of the bowl.

A power feed to the site is required and connection of the feature to the mains power supply must be undertaken by a qualified electrician. David Harber will provide a tripod which must be secured in the centre of the pool or tank with bolts, cement or a bonding agent prior to installation. Our team will advise you on a water pump and reservoir, if required.

Installation and delivery are included in the price for UK commissions, and for overseas shipping quotes can be obtained and charged at cost.
