Our unique new piece symbolises the energy of growth. Gentle, organic, plant-like leaves crafted from verdigris bronze support an assemblage of reflective energy. Its multitude of mirror-polished, stainless-steel stems glint, glisten and cast shadows in a beguiling and magical way.

Design details

The extraordinary fan-like shape is a captivating exploration of the formation of plant structures. It harmonises architectural form with textured surfaces to recreate serene natural environments within curated, lived-in spaces while prompting viewers to contemplate the interconnectedness of nature and contemporary design.

Surrounded by wildlife and lush vegetation, the subtle interplay of reeds and their cellulose structures started to fascinate me and ultimately shaped the direction of Rush.’

78 mirror-polished, stainless-steel stems reflect the surrounding environment in a layered wave pattern, while hand-painted 24-carat gold leaf on the inner surface of the two verdigris bronze sheaths creates a stunning balance between the natural world and material craftsmanship.

Product information

Rush comes with a base plate that needs to be bolted down onto a smooth and level concrete foundation pad, which should be sited below ground level. This allows room for the base of the sculpture to be covered in gravel or planting, giving the illusion that it is growing out from the ground.

Installation and delivery are included in the price for UK commissions. For overseas shipping, quotes can be obtained and charged at cost.

We recommend that Rush be cleaned when necessary with warm water and a very soft cloth and then rinsed with warm, clean water. Once dry, it can be polished with glass cleaner and a soft lint free cloth. Use of any abrasive cleaner will damage the finish and must be avoided. Maintenance instructions will be issued on installation.
