Design details

This gas fire pit water feature is comprised of an mirror-polished stainless steel outer bowl over which water circulate mesmerisingly. It has an inner sky mirror with a gas burner at the centre provides a stunning focal point and transforms a garden water feature into a stunning contemporary outdoor fireplace.

The Fire Chalice is a spectacular rendition of an outdoor fire pit, unusually paired with a water fountain which can be customised.

The flame is reflected in both the circulating water and the concave mirrored surface, producing a kaleidoscope of flickering flames. This dynamic opposing pairing of fire and water creates an elemental ambiance which will elevate any fire pit area in the garden.

Product information

There are several ways that a Fire Chalice can be installed, but most installations fall into the following scenarios:

  • The reservoir tank supplied with the Fire Chalice is dug into the ground, so the Chalice sits above it at ground level.
  • The reservoir tank supplied with the feature sits at ground level with the Fire Chalice on top of it, and therefore is raised up from the ground by 45cm. As the tank is visible, we can supply one with a mirror-polished finish at additional cost, or alternatively you could clad the tank in stone.
  • If you plan to position your Fire Chalice within a new or existing pond, the piece will sit on a tripod above the surface of water. In this scenario, there is no need for a stainless-steel reservoir tank, so the price is slightly reduced to reflect this.

Installation and delivery are included in the price for UK commissions and for overseas, shipping quotes can be obtained and charged at cost.

All water features require a certain amount of maintenance and cleaning. Our team ensure you’re aware of the maintenance required early on in our conversations and we provide all our clients with a detailed maintenance manual at installation.

The transformative power of the elements have fascinated us for millennia and with our Fire Chalice, you can have your very own piece of elemental magic as part of your outdoor decor. We’ve paired the soothing sound of running water with the mesmerising appeal of a dancing flame to create an outdoor water feature and gas fire pit in one. Together, they bring undeniable ambiance to the garden and the sculpture itself provides a stunning focal point during the day and at night.

Usually a water reservoir tank and a pump is provided, and unless the pump is solar powered, an electric supply is required to provide electricity to the pump. At David Harber, our team work with you from the beginning to ensure your water feature is installed seamlessly.

A marriage of the elements is unusual in a fire pit but thanks to the creativity and craftsmanship of our in-house team, we’ve developed the Fire Chalice to bring elevated ambiance to your garden design during the day and at night.

All water features require some maintenance throughout the year. We provide all clients with a detailed maintenance manual so you know exactly how to keep your Fire Chalice looking its best all year round.
