Stand for Chelsea Flower Show 2021

At JDDA, our work reflects the Intersection of Nature and Art; the juxtaposition of the designed and the natural; with bold, contemporary, dynamic gestures in the form of sculptural plant material, innovative hardscaping and an infusion of landscape art. This garden reflects our philosophy and is meant to be thought provoking, with an appreciation for nature.

James Doyle Design Associates

David Harber is delighted to have won a Five Star Trade Stand Award at this year's RHS Chelsea Flower Show. At MA 338 just off Main Avenue, the stand was designed by leading American landscape design practice James Doyle Design Associates. JDDA is a fitting partner for David Harber as the practice sees itself as working at The Intersection of Nature and Art – which is also the title of its recently published book.

The planting has been chosen to provide a vibrant palette of warm colours and unique textures that will highlight the form and patina of the sculptures, as well as for the unique flowering and foliage attributes of individual plants.

The partnership cements a longstanding relationship between James and David and reflects David Harber's increased presence in the US market.

Florio sculpture, brand new for RHS Chelsea Flower Show

Also brand new for the Chelsea Flower Show is Florio, a sculpture that embodies plant growth with its five subtly patinated, funnel-shaped copper flutes culminating in a glowing, gilded top flute.

The sculpture looks natural enough to blend in outdoor settings whilst also being able to serve as a focal point to any garden design. LED lights can be integrated throughout.

Annoushka X David Harber

David Harber's first ever design collaboration is with British fine jeweller Annoushka Ducas MBE. Annoushka has designed a spectacular piece – Sycamore – which takes inspiration from Annoushka’s iconic 18ct gold Sycamore Charm. The elegant sculpture combines David’s technical prowess and Annoushka’s femininity, along with a playful twist found in both their works. Available as a limited edition of twelve, this kinetic sculpture rotates on an axis like a falling sycamore seed through the wind. The seat encourages us to take a moment to enjoy our surroundings as we swirl around.
