Sculpting Conversations in Design
Join us on 12-13 September to hear from acclaimed interior and garden designers across two days of inspiring talks and panel discussions in our Oxfordshire workshop. Both days will include a preview of our new interior piece, a special lunch in our beautiful Sculpture Garden, and the chance to get behind the scenes in our Workshop and Design Studio.
The Programme:
Friday 12 September
10 am: Welcome tea and coffee.
10.30 am: ‘Artful Living: Sculpture Indoors and Out’
Interior Designer Guy Goodfellow and Garden Designer Angel Collins discuss curating beautiful living spaces with sculpture and how to create a narrative that flows between your home and garden. The moderator is Jessica Bumpus, Freelance Writer and former Vogue journalist.
11.30 am: A tour of the David Harber Workshop and Sculpture Garden, including an exclusive preview of our new interior sculpture.
12.30 pm: Lunch in our sculpture garden.
1.45 pm: ‘Rewilding at the Knepp Castle Estate’ with Charlie Harpur
Charlie Harpur is Head Gardener at Knepp Castle Estate in Horsham, West Sussex, one of the UK’s leading conservation projects. Charlie will talk about how rewilding can reverse biodiversity loss and share insights into how the wildlife-friendly approach can be carried into gardens.
Saturday 13 September
10 am: Welcome tea and coffee.
10:30 am: ‘Forward thinking: Designing Gardens for the Future’
Garden Designers Sarah Eberle and Emily Hillier discuss how the approach to garden design is changing as our climate becomes more unpredictable. The moderator is freelance writer Alys Hurn.
11:30 am: A tour of the David Harber Workshop and Sculpture Garden, including an exclusive preview of our new interior sculpture.
12:45 pm: Lunch in our Sculpture Garden.
2:00 pm: Talk by Simon Burvill, founder of Gaze Burvill.
