David Harber - celebrating 30 years

We celebrated our 30th anniversary on a less than blazing but thoroughly joyous weekend with the launch of our dreamy new sculpture show garden at the David Harber workshop & design studio in Oxfordshire. Thanks to all the friends, collaborators, staff and last but by no means least clients for making our milestone moment go off with a bang.

At our 30th anniversary celebration, guests meandered through the wildflowers at our romantic, newly grown sculpture show garden designed by garden designer Sarah Naybour.

The event was packed with things to do.

There were two lively panel discussions:

  • Sustainable Garden Design, hosted by Clare Foster, Gardens Editor, House & Garden, with garden designers Jamie Langlands from Oxford Garden Design, Sophie Parmenter and Catherine MacDonald from Landform
  • And Rewilding, hosted by award-winning garden designer, author and presenter Ann-Marie Powell, with panelists Adam Hunt from Urquart & Hunt landscape designers, Tom Hoblyn of Thomas Hoblyn Garden Design, and Liz Nicholson, managing director of garden designers Nicholsons

There were also talks by Kim Fleming from Flowers from the Farm, by landscape architect Stefano Marinaz, by Katharine Pooley Design Studio on the latest interior and garden design trends, and by Danny Diskin, Founder of RAIN (Regenerative Agroforestry Impact Network). Also Sculpture Tours with David Harber & Workshop Tours with our new Design Director Lior Kristal

Each day of the event was beautifully finished with a live music duo performance by the world-class musicians of the Oxford Chamber Music Festival.

On show at the sculpture garden are many of our classic pieces, and our celebratory limited edition bronze interactive sundial Armillary 30.
