David's contemporary pillar dial incorporates six vertical dials made from etched glass with mirror-polished stainless steel frames and gnomons. They tell the time from a different direction as the sun casts a shadow across each one during its daily transit across the sky.
The multi-faced dial is supported on a stainless steel pillar that is mounted onto a solid stone base.
The sundial is a wonderful combination of art and science that can be appreciated by residents from many different directions.
