Port St Lucie

A permanent roadside art installation to welcome residents and visitors to the City of Port St Lucie on Florida's east coast.

Reflecting Port St Lucie's long and fruitful relationship with the Atlantic Ocean, this is a delicate yet dramatic nautically-themed concept featuring a royal blue and sky blue colour palette framed by polished stainless steel sails.

Even though the largest of the sails is almost 10 metres tall, the final design enabled the entire sculpture to be shipped in a standard container.
