The Spinnakers, a large public sculpture, lit up at night

The entire journey with all of you was great, your effort in working with the different structural and roadway engineers, planners, city, etc was excellent. There were a lot of obstacles that I think we all were able to overcome over the last year in dealing with covid and everything else, and you all could not have been more professional.

GreenPointe Developers, Port St Lucie, Florida, USA

The Spinnakers is a landmark new public sculpture in Port St Lucie, Florida. It is an abstract representation of three sails, each characterized by a gently curved edge to create the appearance of being caught in the wind. The public sculpture inspires the local community from a newly-built roundabout in Port St Lucie's Veranda neighbourhood.

The entire structure is 32 feet tall, hand-crafted from 316 marine grade mirror polished steel into a mast and ribs that frame stainless steel panels. The exterior is painted blue, with a highly reflective mirrored interior. This large public sculpture was created over a period of six months by David Harber's exceptional team of craftsmen and women on site in rural Oxfordshire, UK.
