Chelsea Flower Show 2006 — Trophy for David Harber
David Harber was honoured at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2006 with an RHS Chelsea Sundries Trophy.
The Trophy, awarded for excellence of presentation at Chelsea, is give each year to just a few of the very best stands at the show.
The Chelsea stand was designed for David Harber by Echinops Garden Design.
David Harber was also awarded a Certificate of Merit at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2006, given to exhibits staged to exceptionally high standards of presentation.
On show at Chelsea this year was a stunning 2m high pyramid sculpture made of slate interspersed with translucent glass fragments. At night, light shines through the chinks in the slate and through the glass to dramatic effect.
Also featured on the stand were a brand new Ether sculpture, a Light Sorceress, a stainless steel armillary sphere, a Maya sundial and some vertical dials.
