Roof terrace
For a London roof terrace, David Harber proposed a design with several items in matching burnished copper to create a warm and calm environment within tight space constraints.
The centrepiece of the scheme is a ravishing low copper fire table with curvaceous Arabic inscriptions for decoration. The other large feature is a petal water wall with burnished copper petals. The water wall would cover an ugly brick wall; and also bring calming movement to the roof terrace without taking up any of the limited space.
Utility items - chutes to bring water to and from the wall, and cladding to the slant of the chimney - were designed in matching copper to carry through the walm, calm tones.
